ICONIC Cunard cruise ship Queen Mary 2 is making a return to Greenock for the first time in nearly a decade.
The majestic 150,000-tonne ship is due to call at the Ocean Terminal on Thursday 5 September as part of a 12-day British Isles cruise.
Queen Mary 2 last visited the Clyde in May 2015.
A fireworks display was held for the ship’s departure, attracting thousands of spectators on The Esplanade.
Greenock is also hosting Cunard’s brand new ship Queen Anne twice this year.
