A HOUSE is now being proposed for a vacant Greenock West End site for which flats were approved last year.
Permission is being sought for a two-storey property on overgrown ground beside Glenpark Court, 29 Fox Street, across from Greenock Cricket Club’s ground.
Last October, Inverclyde Planning Board agreed to the principle of flats being built on the land. Detailed consent was still required although indicative plans showed a three-storey block containing five apartments.
But a new proposal, for a three-bedroom home with garage, has now been submitted and is pending consideration by Inverclyde Council officials.
