A DISUSED cottage on one of Inverclyde’s most popular countryside walking routes is set for a makeover.
Waterside Cottage beside Loch Thom is currently divided into two flats but plans have been submitted to alter and extend the building and make it into one house.

Under the proposals the property will have a porch, home office, utility space, open plan kitchen/dining/lounge, a snug, a master bedroom with ensuite plus a detached single storey garage and a separate garden room.
The application is pending consideration by Inverclyde Council planners.
