POLICE are investigating after a man was attacked in the West End of Greenock.
Officers were called to a report of a 46-year-old man assaulted in Bedford Street around 8.45pm on Thursday.
He was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital.
Police Scotland say inquiries are continuing and that any witnesses should call 101, quoting incident 3160 of 30 July.
