MORTON have announced the loan signing of a 20-year-old winger from from Huddersfield Town.
Sahil Bashir started his career with Bradford City and progressed through the youth ranks before moving to Brighton and Hove Albion at 16 years old.
He spent three years on the south coast before signing for Huddersfield Town Academy in the summer of 2025.
Bashir spent the second half of the 2025/26 season on loan at Qatar Stars League second division side Al-Markhiya, where he made nine appearances, scoring once.
Manager Ian Murray said: “Sahil is an exciting young winger who is great with both feet, and on both wings. He brings quality and energy to the squad and the front line.”
