A DEVELOPMENT of large detached homes in Gourock has been given planning consent.
Linear Living Scotland Ltd can build six homes in the woodland grounds of a bungalow beside 24 Rosemount Place, Trumpethill.
The three-level properties will each have five bedrooms plus lounge, dining room, snug and study, as well as three parking places.

Planning permission was already in place for the site to be developed for housing but consent was still needed from Inverclyde Council for any detailed proposals.
Councillors on Inverclyde Planning Board approved the application when they met on Wednesday.
Officials had been in favour. Their report stated: “The proposed development is considered to be a suitable use of a vacant site and commensurate with the pattern of residential developments locally.
“There are no significant amenity issues, access arrangements are considered acceptable, house design and scale is appropriate in relation to the streetscape, [and] parking, landscaping and useable garden provision are acceptable.”
The site has a new owner and an original plan for self-build housing plots has been dropped.
