DETECTIVES are appealing for witnesses following a serious assault in Greenock.
The incident happened around 9am on Thursday on Belville Street. A 31-year-old man was taken to hospital for treatment.
Detective Constable Alison Eadie said: “Enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed the incident to contact us.
“We’d also ask anyone with dash-cam footage which could assist our enquiries to come forward.”
