MCGILL’S Buses have confirmed arrangements for their Greenock to Largs services when the partial re-opening of the A78 at Skelmorlie starts next week.
The operator’s 901 and 906 Clydeflyer coastal services are currently starting and finishing at Wemyss Bay because of storm damage to the road further south, with temporary service 905 running from Greenock to Largs via Port Glasgow and Linwood instead.
The A78 is due to re-open on a restricted basis on Monday (9 November). It will still be closed from 9.30am to 3pm each day while repairs are carried out. McGill’s services 901/906 will run outwith those hours with the 905 providing limited journeys between 10am and 2:30pm.
