MCGILL’S Buses have started a temporary service linking Greenock and Largs via Port Glasgow and Linwood while the A78 remains closed at Skelmorlie.
The operator’s 901 and 906 Clydeflyer coastal services are starting and finishing at Wemyss Bay because of storm damage to the road further south. It is not known when the A78 will re-open.
McGill’s stated: “We are introducing a temporary shuttle bus service 905 to help restore the connection between Largs and Inverclyde.”
