PAUL Riley, best known as Winston in BBC and Netflix’s Still Game, is bringing his new stand-up show to the Beacon Arts Centre.

The Little Boy That Santa Claus Forgot is at the Greenock venue on Friday 6 September.

With a career in acting, writing and performing spanning more than 35 years, Paul most famously graced TV screens in the popular series, Still Game.

He appeared as Winston, a role for which he received a BAFTA Scotland award in 2006. He also regularly featured in the comedy series Chewin’ the Fat, and wrote, directed and starred in Dear Green Place, for which he picked up his second BAFTA under the “Best Entertainment” category.

In the new show, Paul will discuss his journey through life, from an ecumenical debate with a bishop about E.T., to partying with Motörhead, and from being held at gunpoint by armed police, to being locked in a cupboard with the Krankies.

He said “The tour has been received superbly, all over the UK. I have tons of hilarious stories from an astonishing career so far. I just live life to the full, and am a keen practical joker, so there’s never a dull moment, that’s for sure!”

Tickets can be booked online (The show is for over 18s)
