PROPOSALS for housing on a former church site in Greenock have been submitted to planners for approval.
The development of 23 units would be at the old St Ninian’s Parish Church plot on Norfolk Road, Larkfield.

A planning application has been lodged by developer C&S Group with the intention that the homes would be managed by Larkfield Housing Association.
A report by Inverclyde Council officials states: “The proposed housing mix will deliver social rented housing, with the intention of providing elderly amenity cottage flats.
“This will help address significant local demand for such homes and, in turn, free up larger family properties for social rent.”
There would be 22 one and two-bedroom cottage flats and one three-bed, six-person person wheelchair-suitable bungalow.
The application is pending consideration by Inverclyde Council planning department.
