COUNCILLORS have agreed that a detached house can be built on the outskirts of Inverkip.
The proposal involves a site within the grounds of the Bell House, Langhouse Road.
Permission for the principle of developing a house there was given by Inverclyde Planning Board today.
Detailed designs will still need to be submitted for approval.
There was a building on the site in the 1960s but it was demolished leaving the old foundations in place.
