OLD Gourock and Ashton Church is holding a memorabilia as part of its 250th anniversary celebrations.
It takes place week in its halls on Binnie Street and runs from Tuesday 7 July and is open to the public on Tuesday and Thursday, between 10 and 2 and between 6 and 8. It is also on Saturday 11 July from 10 to 1.
It will feature a self-guided tour of the church using a booklet giving details of the history and featuring specific items such as the stained glass windows and the Charles Rennie Mackintosh furniture.

There will be displays including six about the church organisations and the Creative Regeneration organisation. These will include photos, newspaper cuttings and artifacts as well as a rolling videos of more than 300 photos and cuttings on wider life in the community.
A reminiscing event is being held on Thursday 9 July between 2.30 and 4.30 pm for people to come and participate and hear the story and journey from a range of church members with long associations in Gourock. This will be facilitated and recorded by Creative Regeneration.
