POLICE searching for missing Greenock man Andrew Cochrane say the body of a man was recovered today.
Formal identification has yet to take place but the family of Mr Cochrane (68), reported missing from the town on 25 June, has been informed.
The body was found in a wooded area near Bridgend Road in Greenock around 1pm.
The death is not believed to be suspicious and a report will be sent to the procurator fiscal.
