SCOUTING in Inverclyde has two new district lead volunteers.
Mark Gallacher and Kyle Wilson are taking on the role for Greenock and District Scouts.
They are taking over from Martin Buchan who has been district lead for five-and-a-half years.
Greenock and District Scouts stated: “Mark brings a wealth of experience, energy, and passion for Scouting. He is committed to supporting our volunteers, strengthening our sections, and helping even more young people gain skills for life.
“Kyle brings fantastic enthusiasm and a strong commitment to the district and wants to see it flourish and grow.
“This marks an exciting new chapter, and with Mark and Kyle leading the way, Greenock and District Scouts are set to grow and thrive.
“We’d also like to give a massive thank-you to Martin as he prepares to step down following the handover in June. His dedication and service to Scouting has made a lasting impact.”
