BRANCHTON Community Centre, Greenock is the next venue in a series of Our Place Our Future community engagement events, at which residents are being asked what they want to see happen in their local area.

The team will be at Branchton from 6 to 9pm on Thursday (1 June), to encourage them to complete the Our Place Our Future survey, which delves into a wide range of themes from traffic, parking, streets and spaces, to work, care, housing and local amenities.

The project is being coordinated and delivered by local community planning partnership, the Inverclyde Alliance, with funding support from the Big Lottery Fund Awards for All Scotland.

Similar events are planned in Port Glasgow at Boglestone Community Centre on Saturday 10 June, 11am to 2pm, and the Greenock East area at Craigend Resource Centre on Thursday 15 June, 6pm to 9pm. The team will also be back in the Oak Mall Shopping Centre on Friday 9 and Thursday 29 June between 10am and 4pm each day.

The Our Place Our Future survey, which covers 14 key topics, can be completed online until Friday 30 June.

Once the review is complete at the end of June, responses will be analysed over the summer with results announced this autumn.
