A MAN allegedly ran into the grounds of a nearby school when police tried to stop him in Greenock today.
Officers traced the 25-year-old after he allegedly fled into the Inverclyde Academy campus on Cumberland Road.
They had attempted to stop him on Inverkip Road around 12.45pm.
Police said enquiries are ongoing and that there was no threat or risk to the school or wider community.
