A SPRING and end-of-season plant sale is being held at Kilmacolm Cross, outside the library and Cargill Centre, on Saturday 22 April between 10am and noon. Entry is free and donations are welcome. Proceeds will go to Parklea Branching Out and Scotland's Gardens beneficiaries.

GREENOCK’S fire station museum's next open day is on Sunday 30 April from noon to 4pm. The museum is in the old fire station at the Municipal Buildings, Wallace Place, just off Dalrymple Street. (Vehicle access is currently via Hunter Place car park.)
