IN Pictures — Second Christmas Crochet Creation Brings More West End Festive Joy

2 December, 2020 | Local

CROCHET’S answer to mystery artist Banksy is at it again, placing an uplifting Christmas scene over a second Greenock West End post box.

The pillar box on Finnart Street at Forsyth Street was today adorned with a nativity wool creation depicting Mary, Joseph and the baby Jesus, complete with star.

The knitter was perhaps spurred on by the overwhelming response to the first post box display which featured a snowman, Christmas tree and Santa.

Inverclyde Now’s photos of that cheerful ornament attracted a massive following on social media, attracting more than 1,100 reactions on Facebook.
