14 July, 2026 | Local

TWENTY-five years after the Hector McNeil Baths were demolished, the site has finally been brought back into use as the base for a £10million hub for adults with learning disabilities and other complex needs.

The new integrated community care facility in Brachelston Street can support up to 50 people.

Demolition of Hector McNeil Baths got underway in September 2001 following opening of Greenock Waterfront leisure complex in the 1990s.
