WORK to knock down the A78 High Street flyover as the transformation of parts of Greenock town centre continues.
The current phase of the Central Greenock regeneration project is due to last for more than a year as the flyover and the adjacent Bullring roundabout are removed.
A new surface level crossroads will be created instead, along with landscaping.
Also continuing is demolition of the eastern side of the Oak Mall shopping centre.
