POLICE are investigating a break-in at B&Q in Port Glasgow.
Officers attended at the retail park DIY store around 10.45pm yesterday after an intruder alarm was activated.
They found a side fire door insecure. CCTV shows two people in dark clothing entering the premises.
Detective Inspector David Wagstaff said: “A quantity of power tools has been taken, potentially worth a four-figure sum. We are waiting for a stock check to be taken.”
The thieves may have used a car but that has not been confirmed.
Anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area is urged to call police on 101.
