DENTAL Surgery Plan For Ex-Newspaper Offices

13 April, 2026 | Local

THE former Greenock Telegraph office building is set to become a dental clinic.

Refurbishment work costing around £110,000 is proposed at the premises on Crawfurd Street to create surgeries, specialised equipment areas, and reception and waiting rooms on the ground floor. There will be staff accommodation on the first floor.

Dr John Odeny of Orangefield Dental Care, Greenock, has applied for a building warrant from Inverclyde Council to carry out the work.

Vacant space at the rear of the building was turned into a hand car wash last year.

The Greenock Telegraph moved to Ladyburn Business Centre in September.
