TESCO is planning major changes at its store in Greenock, including removing the upper parking area.
The company has submitted a pre-application notice to Inverclyde Council planners outlining its proposals for the Dalrymple Street site.

Tesco want to:
— Demolish the upper-level car park deck.
— Reconfigure and resurface the surface-level car park.
— Alter car park access, layout and circulation.
— Reconfigure customer access to the store.
The existing canopy structure at the front of the store would be kept with the addition of a biodiversity roof with planters.
After the pre-application process, which includes public consultation, a planning application would then be submitted.
