PERMISSION Sought For Food Trailer At Clyde Coast Beauty Spot

17 June, 2026 | Local

A PLAN for a food trailer next to the coastal footpath between Lunderston Bay and Inverkip has been submitted to Inverclyde Council for approval.

The applicant has already put the trailer at the site, in a field, and built boundary fencing, having not realised that planning permission was required.

A retrospective application seeking consent has now been lodged with the council and is being assessed by planning officials.

If approved, the outlet would serve pizzas, burgers and salads as well as tea, and coffee.
