FILMING for new ITV crime drama The Dark is taking place in Greenock this week.
A number of locations in the area are being used for scenes over the next few days.
The six-part show is based on GR Halliday’s debut novel From the Shadows, about Detective Inspector Monica Kennedy who is trying to catch a serial killer.
It features Laura Donnelly, Mark Rowley and Helen Baxendale.
Parking restrictions will be in place as production vehicles set up around West College’s Finnart Street Campus, at Cathcart Square and in the West End in the area of Forsyth Street, Fox Street, Finnart Street and Margaret Street.
