POLICE arrested a man for alleged assault and attempting to break into a vehicle today.
Officers were called to Crunes Way, Kingston Dock, Greenock, around 11:20 am (Tuesday).
A 26-year-old male was arrested and charged by police at the scene.
He is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
