THE team at a Greenock restaurant are celebrating after the venue was crowned ‘Newcomer of the Year’ at the Scotsman Scran Awards.
Scotts Greenock was chosen by an expert judging panel as the best new venue in Scotland amongst a shortlist of outstanding bars and restaurants, including Cardinal in Edinburgh, Dune in St Andrew’s, The Kenmuir Arms and Edinburgh Street Food.
The bar and restaurant, which is operated by hospitality group Buzzworks Holdings, opened at Greenock Ocean Terminal last summer.
Jenny Barlow, general manager at Scotts Greenock said: “Being crowned ‘Newcomer of the Year’ against such strong competition from across Scotland is a truly monumental moment for us.
“Scotts Greenock is Buzzworks’s first restaurant in Inverclyde, and so we’re overjoyed to see that our dedication to providing fantastic dining experiences with outstanding service to match hasn’t gone unnoticed.
