
PLANNING permission is being sought for enabling works to allow development at Inchgreen dock in Greenock.
Inchgreen Marine Park Ltd have applied to demolish existing buildings and construct a new security gatehouse and four sub-stations at the massive site.
A breakwater tank, gates, and alterations to existing site access arrangement are among other required infrastructure proposed.
A joint venture between Inverclyde Council and major landowner Clydeport Operations Limited, has been set up ahead of multi-million investment plans for the site.
