WEEKEND Death Registration Service Available
INVERCLYDE residents are being reminded that council registration services are available seven days a week during the coronavirus pandemic.
Council leader, Councillor Stephen McCabe, said: “Our registration service is now open on Saturday and Sunday, from 10am until 1pm, to support families during this difficult time.
“It will mean that they do not need to wait until Monday to register the death of a loved one and council staff will be available at the weekend to provide the necessary support.
“Staff will be available by phone and email to support residents to continue to maintain the necessary social and physical distancing rules in place nationally.”
