THE rider of an e-scooter was stopped by police in Greenock and their the vehicle seized.
Officers on patrol saw the e-scooter being ridden on the pavement on Kilmacolm Road on Tuesday.

The rider was stopped, the scooter seized and the rider charged and reported for multiple road traffic offences.
Police Scotland stated: “Parents and carers are reminded of the dangers of young people using these e-scooters, not only to the rider, but to the general public.
“Keeping Inverclyde’s streets and pavements safe is a priority for Police Scotland and we will continue to take action against the use of such e-scooters.”
