TRANSPORT Authority Pulls Plug On Troubled Clyde Ferry Route Operator

GOUROCK to Kilcreggan ferry operator Clydelink Ltd is to lose the route early.
Strathclyde Partnership for Transport (SPT) is terminating its contract next week following a series of disruptions.
SPT has notified the current contractor, Clydelink Ltd, that their the last sailing will be on Saturday 12 May.
Clyde Marine’s base at Victoria Harbour, Greenock
Clyde Marine Services of Greenock will assume operation from 14 May 2018.
The timetable of the service is unchanged.
Clyde Marine were due to take over from Clydelink in mid-July.
