
A MAN suffered serious injuries after an alleged attack in Greenock.
Police were called to a report of an assault at Old Inverkip Road at Grieve Road around 4pm (Monday).

Officers sealed off the area while the incident was investigated.
Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 43-year-old man sustained serious, but not life threatening injuries, and was taken to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow by ambulance.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances.”
