TRAIN Services Resume After Overnight Repairs

INVERCLYDE train services have resumed after power lines damaged on Monday by falling trees were fixed.

Network Rail worked overnight to deal with the problem between Bishopton and Paisley.

Earlier, the A78 Inverkip Road, Greenock, was closed between South Street roundabout and Bow Road because of a fallen tree. It has now reopened.

A number of other trees blew down in high winds across the district.
