SCOUT Leaders In Kilmacolm Honoured For Their Commitment

AN outdoor awards night was held for Kilmacolm’s Scout leaders.

The covid-friendly event took place at the Scouting 75th Anniversary Celebration Garden at Birkmyre Park.

District Commissioner Martin Buchan and Group Scout Leader Stuart Wilson to greeted and praised the award recipients.

Stuart said: “Many congratulations to all leaders who received awards. We could not provide fun, adventure and life skills without their valuable support and commitment.”

Awards were presented as follows:

Audrey Espie — Chief Scout’s Commendation
Carol Thomson — Wood Badge and Beads
Colin Espie — Wood Badge and Chief Scout’s Commendation
David Gray — 10-years’ service
Jennifer Gray — Chief Scout’s Commendation
Lisa Griffin — Wood Badge and beads
