THE 5th Greenock Scout Group is appealing for people to donate essential supplies for the people of Ukraine following the invasion by Russia.
Anyone able to give items is asked to contact ashley.5thgreenockanddistrict@gmail.com or hand in donations at Westburn Church youth hall, Nelson Street, Greenock on Thursday from 5 to 7pm and Friday from 6 to 9.30pm.
List of items needed:
— Blankets
— Winter clothes and boots (mainly for boys/men aged 18-plus)
— Essential toiletries
— Sanitary products
— Tinned Food
— Bottled Water
— Painkillers and anti-inflammatory medicines (adults and children)
— Torches
— First Aid kits, bandages and basic medical items
— Newborn formula, nappies, baby food, wet wipes, Sudocream
— Children’s winter/autumn clothes, boots and shoes
— Camping equipment
— Dry energy food, protein bars, chocolate, tea and coffee
— Female and male jackets
— Colouring books and pencils/pens for children
