The damage to the hull

A CALMAC ferry which collided with a pier was brought to Greenock for repairs.

MV Hebrides, which operates the Uig, Tarbert, Lochmaddy route, made contact with Lochmaddy pier while berthing during high tide on Thursday evening suffering damage to the hull.

This vessel was able to travel to Dales Marine’s yard ay James Watt Dock repairs were carried out over the weekend. Hebrides was able to leave on Sunday afternoon.
