Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance Supervisor
Full time, Permanent
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
EVH GRADE TAS4: £29,124 — £30,250 per annum
An opportunity has arisen, to be part of Oak Tree’s in-house landscape and grounds maintenance team. This role will first and foremost be responsible for maintaining the grounds of the association’s customers day to day, including tenants and owner occupiers, under the direction of the project co-ordinator, as well as supervising the operations of the in-house landscaping team.
Key responsibilities include, but will not be limited to, undertaking the full range of soft landscaping and grounds maintenance duties (hard landscaping tasks as required); working closely with the project co-ordinator in organising, planning and delivery of the programme of works; supervising landscaping staff day to day; assisting with team meetings; ensuring H&S policies and procedures are followed and assisting with customer queries and complaints.
Candidates must have strong practical experience in various soft landscaping tasks with hard landscaping experience desirable. Previous experience supervising staff is essential.
The right candidate for this role will have good all-round communication skills, IT skills, an organised and proactive approach to work and be focused on the delivery of excellent customer service.
Candidates should have a full clean driving licence and access to their own car (when use of own car is required, mileage will be paid in line with HMRC rates).

Accounting Modern Apprentice
An opportunity has arisen within Oak Tree Housing Association, for an Accounting Modern Apprentice to join the Finance team.
35 hours per week, Monday to Friday
National Minimum Wage (Apprentice rate, from £7.55 p/h)
18-month contract
Reporting to the Senior Finance Officer, the Accounting Modern Apprentice will undertake a key role within the Finance team, ensuring financial information is accurately recorded, to provide an efficient and effective finance service.
Key responsibilities will include:
Completion of Accounting SCQF Level 6 Modern Apprenticeship Qualification
Carrying out daily, key, financial tasks
Providing high quality services to colleagues, customers and suppliers
Assisting with processing all supplier invoices
Assisting with maintaining customer and supplier data and contact information
Liaising with suppliers on invoice and payment matters
Taking payment calls from customers
Supporting the finance team to deliver a streamlined finance service
Providing administration support for the finance team
General day to day office administrative tasks
Other duties, appropriate to the post, over and above those given in the job description
