BBC Sports commentator Chick Young will speak at the Inverclyde Sports Personality Awards night next week. Radio personality Amber Zoe will present the awards.
Football pundit Chick is also chairman of the panel who will select the winners of 2020/ 2021 awards.
Presenting this year’s awards event is radio personality Amber Zoe, known as a presenter and for working on Clyde 1 and Pure Radio stations.
Amber said: I am so excited to be hosting these awards again. It’s been a long three years since the last sports award dinner event and it’s always such a special occasion filled with wonderful, talented nominees and the great people of Greenock.
“It’s always the loveliest and friendliest event of the year and what a fantastic evening it will be! I can’t wait!”
The event takes place in Greenock Town Hall on Friday 13 May.
Tickets for the gala dinner, which include a drink on arrival, a three-course meal with table drinks and tea and coffee, are available from Smith Sports in West Blackhall Street, Greenock.
