POLICE Confronted By ‘Hostile’ Youths At Gourock DisturbanceA TEENAGER faces a number of charges after being arrested for alleged assault in Gourock.
Police attended a report of youths assaulting another young person on Larkfield Road around 10pm yesterday.
Sergeant Jason Logsdon said: “On police arrival a group of youths was hostile, shouting at police.
“A male identified in relation to the assault was allegedly aggressive and abusive to officers.”
The 17-year-old was charged with assault, breach of the peace and resisting arrest and will be reported to prosecutors.
