PLAN For More Commercial Units At Vacant Site in Greenock

25 April, 2023 | Business, Local, Planning

NEW plans have been drawn up for a commercial development on land in Greenock that’s part of businessmen Sandy and James Easdale’s property empire.

The brothers’ Dalglen investment arm acquired the former Breedon Aggregates yard on Orchard Street, between Ingleston Street and Crescent Street in November 2020.

Inverclyde Council planners later gave permission for seven small units for business, industrial or storage/distribution use.

Dalglen have now submitted revised proposals seeking permission for two buildings — one with nine small units and one containing five garages. The premises would be for industrial and storage use.

The new application is pending assessment by officials.

The site is close to Easdale family commercial interests Blairs Windows and Doors and Arc Fleet Services.
