A BIG-hearted team put in shifts to help Inverclyde Community Development Trust get its new low-cost food pantry ready.
Workers from Home Fix Scotland (HFS), the repairs and maintenance contractor for River Clyde Homes, carried out work at the premises in John Wood Street, Port Glasgow.
John Paul Duddy was one of the team and said: “We were really happy to be involved in this valuable community project. We built the counter area, painted the pantry and converted an old bathroom into a storage area.
“It looks really good and will provide an attractive frontage for this much-needed service to locals who are struggling with the current economic situation.”
