MORTON have confirmed that a shortlist has been drawn up for its management vacancy, and that Billy Davies will remain as technical head coach for the rest of the season.
The club stated: “The club will recruit an enthusiastic and driven coach to work with Billy during this period.
“The intention is for the club to benefit from Billy’s vast experience in the game, while also supporting the development of this individual.
“A shortlist has now been drawn up, and interviews will take place. We would like to thank everyone who has expressed an interest in the role.
“Everyone at the club remains fully committed to ensuring we have the right people in place to move the club forward positively, both on and off the pitch.”
Current head of youth and emerging talent Gary Miller is interim first team coach at present.
