MORTON won their last match of the season but narrowly missed out on a play-off spot.
The Greenock side beat Cove Rangers 2:1, away, despite going down to 10 men for most of the second half.
Morton finished fifth in the Championship, behind Partick Thistle on goal difference.
The team won 15 matches, drew 12 and nine.
In tonight’s final game, Morton went ahead in the second minute when Jack Baird scored, but Cove equalised in the 45th minute.
Cameron Blues was sent off for a second yellow card early in the second half.
Robbie Muirhead got the winner in the 73rd minute.
