GREENOCK householders were left ‘extremely distressed’ after a robbery at a property in Larkfield.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses following the incident which happened around 12.05am on Wednesday in the Fife Road area of Larkfield.
Two men broke in and threatened the occupants. They made off with a three-figure sum of cash and are believed to have left in a light-coloured vehicle.

Detective Sergeant Andrew Henderson said: “Fortunately no one was seriously injured however both occupants were left extremely distressed by this despicable crime within their own home.
“Our enquiries to trace these men are ongoing and I am asking anyone who saw anything suspicious or who has private CCTV or dash-cam footage that could assist with our investigation to get in touch.”
One of the men spoke with a local accent, was slim and was wearing a black tracksuit with the hood up, and a dark face mask.
The other was of slim to medium build, around 5ft 11in, had a local accent and was wearing a dark tracksuit with the hood up and a mask.
