MAN Who Died At Caravan Park Is Named

A 21-YEAR-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with the death of a 33-year-old man at Wemyss Bay caravan park.

Police were called to a report of a man having been injured on Rothesay Gardens early on Sunday.

Emergency services attended and a 33-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deceased has been named as Raymond Cosgrove.

The male who was arrested is due to appear at Greenock Sheriff Court on Tuesday.

Detective Inspector Nicky Beattie said: “I’m aware this incident will be a cause of concern for people and I would like to confirm Raymond’s family is being supported by specialist officers during this time.”
