
POLICE have made an arrest in connection with an incident in which a man was hit by a vehicle in Greenock.
Officers were called to the Brachelston Street area of Greenock, around 3.15am on Saturday following a report of a disturbance.
A 35-year-old man has been arrested and charged with attempted murder.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “A 26-year-old man was taken to Inverclyde Royal Hospital in Greenock after he sustained injuries from being struck by a vehicle.
“The 35-year-old man appeared at Greenock Sheriff Court on Monday”
