MAN Arrested Over Alleged ‘Intent To Commit Theft’POLICE were called to a report of a man acting suspiciously around properties in central Greenock early today (Friday).
The suspect was seen on Inverkip Street, Brachelston Street and then Murdieston Street around 5.30am.
Officers traced him in a common close and he was arrested and charged with allegedly being in places with intent to commit theft.
The 38-year-old will be subject of a report to prosecutors.
