MAN Arrested Over Alleged 1am Assault And Knife Breach of The PeacePOLICE responded to a call involving a man who allegedly had a knife and had assaulted someone.
The alleged victim was not injured and the knife had been taken off the suspect in a struggle during the incident at a property in Mearns Street on Saturday
Officers traced a 50-year-old who was arrested and charged with alleged assault and breach of the peace while in possession of a knife.
He was held custody for court.
