MOTORISTS face disruption on one Inverclyde’s busiest roads as it closes for two phases of resurfacing.
Inverclyde Council is carrying out the work on Cornhaddock Street and Dunlop Street from next week.
Cornhaddock Street will be closed between its junctions with Broomhill Street and Murdieston Street from Wednesday 23 July to Friday 25 July
The eastbound diversion will be via Murdieston Street, Prospecthill Street, Broomhill Street and Drumfrochar Road. Westbound traffic will go via Drumfrochar Road, Peat Road, Murdieston Street and Dunlop Street.
Dunlop Street will be closed between Barr’s Cottage roundabout and the junction with Murdieston Street from Monday 28 July to Friday 1 August. Traffic will be diverted via the A78.
